Chickens

Been really busy of late, going to Edinburgh, attending two conferences, going to Swanage for the Morris dancing festival. The weather was scorching as usual. The most exciting thing to happen since has been our first egg - laid by Saffy on 15th September. She is now laying eggs on a daily basis. I even ate one, boiled. Felt a bit wierd eating my own chicken's egg like that but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
