Walking the plank

This is the current route from my front door into the rest of the house. The kitchen is pretty much done and the builders have now moved onto the living room floor. The planks are about 18inches off the ground. Good think we're steady on our feet. Hopefully we should have the new floor in by next week.

One day we hope to have the house back again. Meanwhile, the builders have become almost like part of the family.
