Dave arrived home the other day to find the front door wide open.
Where's the kitten he worried as he rushed in to find the kitten's door open.
In the laundry room (where we're keeping our new kitten while he's too young to go out) were two men - Rob the Oil and Paul the Plumber. Well, I know this but Dave had never met them. "Where's the kitten" he asked, unconcerned by their miraculous appearance in the house.
"Oh, he's in the toilet" they said. "He looked a bit young so we shut him in there".
Having ascertained the safety of the kitten, Dave then turned his attention to these two strangers in the house. "We let ourselves in using John's keys" they said "Didn't he tell you?". John is our builder who has a set of house keys so he can come in when he needs to do things on the house without us needing to be around. The boiler needed the new controller fitting and he'd organised Rob and Paul to come around to do it. Forgot to tell Dave mind :)
Anyway, Dave made them some tea and they did the job.
